Bill Schneider '95 has been involved with Gilmour Academy since he enrolled as a 7^th grade student in 1989. He was a three-year member of the Lancer varsity baseball team, serving as a captain his senior season. He played on the team that made a regional appearance in 1994. He then began coaching with the Lancers in 1996 - one year after graduating from the school. As an assistant, he was part of the program during six regional appearances, including those in 1997, 1999, 2008, 2009, 2014 and 2015. He was also a part of the coaching staff for the team that set the current record for wins in a season with 25 in 2008.

Schneider graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in communication and marketing. He currently runs the Fioritto Funeral Service with his mother, Donna Marie Fioritto-Tamburro and his uncle, Mario Fioritto, Jr. He has been a volunteer for the West Side Catholic Center, Holy Angels Church, St. John Vianney, St. Francis of Assisi, the Church of St. Clare and various other churches. Schneider is also an avid golfer and has been a member of Walden Country Club in Aurora since 2005, where he has also served on the board since 2017.
